This is a really nice antique broad hewing hatchet on a really cool vintage “ivory” hickory handles made in Arkansas. This piece is in beautiful condition. The head is still on tight, but please be sure to refer to the pictures for the very best description of this item as it is a used vintage woodworking tool most likely from the late 1800s. I was unable to locate a stamp on the head itself. Please be sure to refer to the pictures. Most importantly the top of the head where there is a small artifact or crack from when it was manufactured, this is typical and common in early axes and does not impact the use.
