Wonderful vintage handmade splint ( wood ) basket.

Measuring 9.5” square, 4 1/8” high, 6 in to the top of the handles. woven with dark brownish black accents, a mahogany wooden base, studs on the bottom border and in very nice vintage condition.

One handle slightly more upright than the other. One row skipped on the under over splint weave as part of the design, ( all pictured )( see pictures for details).

Made in New York, USA, signed.
