A very handy bit of gear - converts a stereo analog signal to 5.1 channel analog using onboard decoder and preamplifier, then outputs the main speaker and subwoofer outputs for amplificiation, while its onboard amplifiers handle the center and rear channels, and send that amplified signal to the speaker outputs

This enables you to transform your existing stereo system into a 5.1 surround sound system without any change to the normal stereo sound or function.  For instance, your turntable and CD player, and speakers remain connected to your stereo amplifier, your TVs rca or headphone output can be hooked up to the PRO7.  Connect additional speakers and optional subwoofer to the PRO7 and connect the output of the PRO7 to an available line level RCA input of your amplifier, and anything on your TV can be listened to in 5.1 surround sound through your existing speakers, together with the added rear channel, center, and subwoofer.
