A fascinating collection of four original mid-19th century hand-coloured costume prints from William Spooner’s “Costumes of the Court of Charles II”, published in London in 1851.

These prints were produced to illustrate the costumes selected for Her Majesty’s State Ball held on 13th June 1851, depicting fashionable Restoration-period dress from the reign of Charles II (1660–1670).
