Offered for your consideration is a vintage or antique signed Samurai Shokai Yokohama Japan sterling silver letter opener. This fabulous piece is in excellent used condition with no major damage or signs of repairs. Due to the nature of sterling silver, there are noticeable scratches and abrasions from use - consistent with age. A great opportunity to own a rare piece by the Samurai Shokai company which closed in 1965. Unsure of date of production but likely 1940's-1960's mid century era. Measures just under 9" x just under 1". Weighs a total of 75.4 grams. We believe it reads "Fortune" and "Longevity". Please review the photos carefully and make your own judgement.
