C. 1900, a Jeweller's pocket travelling diamond scales, including carat weights from 64 to 1, with 1/2 carat, 1/8, 1/16 th fractional weights in their own compartment. Tweezers and diamond scoop neatly slotted into the lid. Sculpted, compartmented mahogany case with chrome fittings. No maker's name evident. Not used for a long time, one nut absent from the central hanger which does not affect function or accuracy.
