This is a painting of Tanzania. I have traveled to central Africa on seven occasions. This painting was purchased directly from the artist.  See last photo of the artist, the man to the far left.  His name is Eli Morris, and his signature appears on the lower left side of the canvas. 

The colors are rich, and so is the landscape in real life.  It's is amazing place that in many respects seems unchanged from how it may have been a couple of hundred years ago.  The traditional stretched canvas measures:  36 inches wide by 24 inches tall. The painting is in excellent condition.
