✨ An exceptional pair of French architectural salvages in solid carved oak, dating from the 17th to 18th century. ✨
Originally
part of a prestigious piece of furniture (such as a cabinet or buffet),
these two pilasters feature masterfully hand-carved bearded male
figures (Atlantes or caryatid style) looking at each other, standing
above unique small figures in hats and geometric rosettes.
Perfect
to display as historic wall art, integrated into a fireplace mantel
project, or added to a collection of early European wood carvings.
Condition: Authentic antique items over 300 years old. Shows expected historical wear and minor missing wood pieces. Please
take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the
description. Good antique condition with some normal signs of ages.
