Bumblejumper.

Bumper was a first wave G1 Autobot mini vehicle released in 1984. It’s one of the strangest and rarest of figures in Transformers history. Bumper was only released on Cliffjumper card backs and never on his own card. Whilst his name is Bumper the collector name for him is a blending of Bumblebee and Cliffjumper “Bumblejumper” a throwback from when it was believed Bumper was sold on either character’s backing card. However despite only being released in the first assortment of mini vehicles his inclusion was definitely intentional and not a mis-card or prototype as at the time his date stamp was updated in the same way as Cliffjumper and Bumblebee’s however no unique card for Bumper has ever surfaced. Loose figures are rare enough these days and command a high 3 figure asking price and a carded example would go for bonkers money and considered by collectors a grail of collecting. For many fans the re-issue is about as you could get and oddly enough even this carded re-issue is a limited run and not widely available unlike say the boxed Optimus Prime re-issues and the first wave G1’s etc.
