These have really nice with bit raised rounded appearance that can be installed right on top of clear coat and it instantly looks great without bothering to do clear coat on top of it since these decals have their own hard top coat too as you can see in the photos.
If you want to clear coat then you need to get waterslide. The raised look under clear coat will make it appear even better like some guitar manufacturers use this technique.
