A pair of Japanese lidded cups with saucers from the "野の花の歳時記" (No-bana no Saijiki - Seasonal Diary of Wild Flowers) series, copyright IEI·P 1986, Made in Japan.

Each cup features a different botanical design:

• Katakuri (Erythronium / Dog's Tooth Violet) on white ground
• Hirugao (Morning Glory) on dark ground

Gold rim detail throughout. Black lacquer-style saucers.

Condition: Please note there is a small chip to the rim of each cup, as shown in photos. Lids and saucers are in good condition.

A decorative pair, ideal for display.
