This listing is for two complete rolls of this stunning unused vintage 1960s bold floral and leaf design wallpaper. A creamy background is printed with a green leaf design and red/brown flowers, it has a matt finish and is not vinyl coated. A slightly damask repeat pattern which, if you look closely, is a designed showing embroidered stitches and is lightly textured. This will add a flare of authentic French chic wherever you use it.
One roll is still sealed in its original polythene wrapping, the other was open, so it was easy to show you this delightful design. I am pretty sure it is old enough to have been printed on a ancient heliographic printing machine with different rollers for each colour.
In VERY GOOD vintage condition, with some signs of age, particularly to the ends of the open roll. You may have to lose the first 50 cm or so of that roll but I don't think more than that is affected enough to show any problems once it is pasted and in use. Please see all photos and remember it is at least 60 years old and has been stored in a French attic for decades.
This is all I have of this design, so there will be enough for a feature wall but not a whole room. Ideal to use on furniture or other craft projects too. There are companies now who will reproduce old wallpapers so if you really love it you can always have it re-made in as greater quantity as you need.
Standard size:
10.05 m x 53 cm (11 yards x 20½ inches)
Area: 5.3 m ( 57 sq ft)
This is all I have of this design, I find you get approx 4 full drops from each roll of paper, depending on the height of your wall of course and the length of the matching design.
