Although I have determined it has been used it appears very shiny and new looking.  But after intense scrutiny I found about 5 minor faint scratches that cannot be felt on top and 3 tiny faint scratches on bottom. You really have to hunt and hold on light to see.  This is a great piece for display or use for holiday festivities . Very nice. With box in excellent condition.
