Unless otherwise indicated, we ship all of our items via Standard Air Mail. Registered mail with tracking is also available for an additional US$5.60 above the standard Air Mail shipping cost stated in the description.
We are glad to combine multiple items for shipping, and of course will discount some of the postage charges for each item after the first one. Please note that the shipping discount is not large for heavy items, but for small, light things we will discount the shipping charges by 40-100 percent, depending on how heavy it is and how it needs to be packed.
We ship at least once and very often twice a week, and so most of the time items will be in the mail within no more than 10 business days after we have received payment. We also always send a brief note informing buyers when their items have shipped.
To Buyers in the USA: All of our parcels shipped to the USA are sent DDP, which means that all of the required tariffs have been paid upon checkout. The additional amount that we have added to the shipping costs to the USA cover the cost charged to process the tariffs, and a very small part of the tariffs themselves. We pay any additional tariff amounts ourselves. Please note that the tariff processing costs and tariffs are collected separately by a private US company, not Japan Post, and so the shipping costs shown on parcels are Japan Post’s postage fees only. Please note also that the tariff-processing fee applies to each parcel, not to each item inside a parcel, and so the shipping-cost adjustment (a subtraction) for combined shipping of more than one item is fairly substantial for each item after the first one.
