ORIGIN
Made from 100% Blue Batak Arabica grown around Lake Toba in Northern Sumatra, Singatoba is subject to a complex process which gives it a unique aromatic bouquet. Hand-picked, it is fermented, sheltered from the air and acquires its characteristic blue shade before being shipped immediately to Europe.
ROASTING
The beans from the first harvest undergo a short roasting to preserve the fruity notes of black-currant. In contrast, the more mature beans, picked last, are roasted very slowly to develop the strength and intensity of the coffee.
AROMATIC PROFILE
Fruity and woody. Refreshing notes of black-currant berries and grapefruit complement sweet woody notes reminiscent of licorice sticks and conifer. It has a rich and distinctive profile and is full-bodied with a touch of acidity.
