Kotodo's tea cans have a flat style with no bulge at the boundary between the outer lid and the body. Because the area where friction from hand rubbing occurs most when opening and closing the can is flat, friction from hand rubbing is minimized, and the paper can be used in good condition for a longer time. In addition, the absence of unnecessary bulges makes it aesthetically pleasing. This can is user-friendly, with features such as no solder (lead) used, a tinplate finish to prevent hand injuries, a tinplate inner lid that does not deform like plastic and maintains a consistent feel throughout the year while providing good airtightness, and an exquisite opening and closing feel adjusted by hand for each can.
