Here's a nice '78 Nicaraguan plate! Very good condition, normal wear from use, see photos. GR = Granada - one of Nicaragua's most beautiful Departments which includes the city by the same name, Volcan Mombacho, Isletas de Granada, etc. I call this TYPE 1 (aluminum plate with reflective film) as I have identified 3 different types of 78 plates. The other two types are steel plate with reflective film (Type 2) and non-reflective painted steel plate (Type 3).
