7-Way Switching: 

 

The Bottom Tone Pot is a Push/Pull Pot. When the knob is pulled up it activates the Neck Pickup. When the 5-Way Switch is in the Bridge Position the Neck and Bridge Pickups are Active. In the Middle/Bridge Position, All Pickups are Active. This is sometimes called the Gilmour Mod.  Named after David Gilmour of Pink Floyd Fame.

 

 Split Tone Mod:  

 

The Neck and Middle Pickups share a Tone Pot, while the Bridge Pickup has a Tone Pot of its own.  When the 5-Way Switch is in the Middle/Bridge Position, both Tone Pots are Active allowing you to blend the tone of the two Pots. And, because this has 7-Way Switching, there are even more blending options.  A very nice option indeed!

 

 Treble Bleed:

 

A Treble Bleed allows the highs to pass through the Volume pot as you roll off the Volume. What this does is keep the Brightness and the Clarity of the pickups the same as you roll down the volume. You have the same clarity and brightness at 10 as you would at 9,8,7,6 and so on.  This is super nice!

 

 Selectable Coil Split:

 

The Pickguard is equipped with a Mini On/Off/On Toggle Switch. When the Toggle Switch is in the Off position, (middle) the Stratobucker is at Full Power. When flipped forward it splits the coil and the North Alnico 5 Pole coil side is Active. When flipped backward from the middle position, the South Dual Rail side is active. This is an excellent output and tone option.

Full Humbucker=20.38 K

 

Dual Rail Side (South coil) =14.27 K

 

Alnico 5 Pole side (North Coil) = 6.47K

 

The best of both worlds in one pickup. Alnico 5 Rod Coil Side, and a Dual Rail Hot Ceramic Humbucker side.

 

These are excellent PUPS. A combination of a Hot Dual Rail Single coil size Humbucker, and a Warm and focused Alnico 5 Pole Side that makes this a very versatile PUP. I love it for leads Full or Split. Country to Metal, it will do it all.

 

 Guitar Madness 62 Z's Staggered Pole Alnico 5 PUPS:

 

These are excellent sounding Alnico 5 Pickups. They have a nice vintage output. Replicated to sound like the classic 60’s single coils. Surf, Country, Blues, Vintage Rock and Rock are all in this Pickups’ wheelhouse. One of my personal favorites. Middle Pickup is RWRP. Excellent PUPS!
