This is an Apple iPod 1st Generation model M8541 EMC: 1910 in white, with a storage capacity of 5 GB, manufactured in 2001. The original iPod was introduced in October 2001. The first batch production run was reserved for the rollout to retail distributors. This unit was made the within 50th week of 2001 - 1st Quarter 2002 an early build. 

This iPod comes in the original box. It also comes with the original charge cube and apple firewire cable. Warranty card, getting started manual and other paperwork is included an unopened folder. All functions work properly. The unit holds a charge only when plugged in. The lithium polymer battery needs to be replaced. The iPod and box is in decent condition. See pictures as they are part of description.
