Purchased in the south of France fabulous antique tablecloth with 12 lovely large napkins. 

Stunning framed floral motif with beautifully detailed center monogram YL. The tablecloth has same details. 

Lovely rustic hemp, heavy damask weave with a slightly rustic weight and hand.  Perhaps a bit of linen and or nettle blend. Yummy warm oatmeal color. Lots of natural fleets and vacations in weave, home spun threads for sure! They seem seldomly used, color may lighten especially if oxygen or other whiteners are used. 

Dating from 1900 perhaps late 19th.   Wonderful heirloom quality set!!!

Condition: Excellent no flaws other than the one naturally in weave. Recently washed and pressed beautifully so I did not rewash.

Approximate measurements: Tablecloth 96" x 66"  Napkins 31" X 24". Set weighs just under 6lbs! 

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
