Revell 1:72 F8F‑1 Bearcat 04680 – Sealed US Navy Fighter Model Kit

Bring a classic late‑WWII / early‑Korean War naval fighter to your display with this Revell F8F‑1 Bearcat 1:72 scale plastic model kit (No. 04680). The Bearcat was one of the last piston‑engine fighters operated by the US Navy, known for its compact size, powerful engine and exceptional climb performance.

This kit offers finely raised and engraved surface detail, a detailed cockpit with pilot figure, and drop tank or underwing store options depending on boxing. The box states a finished length of approximately 11.9 cm and wingspan of 15.5 cm, making it a great size for 1:72 naval collections or small display shelves. The kit includes clear parts for the canopy and decals for at least one classic US Navy scheme as shown on the box art.

Your example is in factory sealed condition: the box has never been opened, so all parts, decals and instructions are untouched inside. (See photos for any light shelf wear along edges or corners.) This is ideal for collectors of Revell blue‑box aircraft or builders who like receiving kits exactly as they left the factory.

Perfect for fans of US Navy aviation, Grumman “cat” fighters or anyone looking for a compact 1:72 project with vintage charm, this kit builds into an attractive display model of the rugged Bearcat. It also makes a thoughtful gift for aviation history buffs and scale modellers.
