Resinumbausatz eines deutschen Nachtjägerprojektes, der   Focke Wulf Ta 183 B Fledermaus   im Maßstab 1/72 von WCM (White Cat Models). Im Angebot enthalten sind die Resinconversion mit einer Vacuhaube, eine bebilderte englischsprachige Anleitung und ein Foto des gebauten Models, Decals liegen nicht bei. Der Grundbausatz Focke Wulf Ta 183 Huckebein von PM Models in 1/72 ist nicht Teil dieses Angebots, dieser muß separat erworben werden. 

Die Fw Ta 183 B Fledermaus stellt eine Weiterentwicklung der Ta 183 dar, um den Strahljäger auch nachts einsetzen zu können. Hierfür wurde das Cockpit vergrößert, um einem Beobachter und Bordfunker Platz zu machen und über dem Triebwerkseinlauf erhielt die Maschine ein FUG 240 Berlin Radar in einer verkleideten Beule. Diese kaum bekannte Variante der Ta 183 verblieb auf dem Reißbrett.

There is no doubt, that the Focke Wulf Ta 183 was one of the best and technical most advanced projects of the entire second world war. After the war, the design of the Ta 183 heavily influenced the development of the outstanding Russian fighter MiG 15. Excellent in top speed, highly agility and superior turning abilities would have made the Ta 183 a deadly weapon in the german inventory. The Ta 183 B Fledermaus (bat) was a projected double-seater for use in the defence of the Reich as a nightfighter. Because of the heavy weightof the radar equipment and the second crewman, armament was reduced to to two powerful 30mm cannons with 60 rounds each. Equipped with the FuG240 Berlin Radar in a special nose cone, the second crewman was to operate the radar while the pilot used the deadly Mk 103 cannons against the allied heavy bombers. Because of the high speed of this extraordinary bomber interceptor there was no defense armament necessary.
