Known as America’s first favorite “all American” coin and despite the name, the obverse design does not depict a Native American, but rather Lady Liberty wearing a feathered head dress and the Indian Head Cent was designed by James B. Longacre, this Extra Fine condition specimen is a 1891 example from the Philadelphia Mint has very nice eye appeal and strong features on both the obverse and reverse with minimal wear - the feathers have have amazing detail and Liberty and feathers are sharp like the wreath and arrows on the reverse - superb! This is one coin with a strong strike showing the important features. This is a beautiful example for any collection and have priced it low ~ I want all collectors to have the finest coins at reasonable prices. I understand inflation and gas prices are high which is another reason to assist my clients.
