Lg 19th c Antique 4 Fingered Pantry Box Opposing Fingers 12" Primitive Folk Art.
Description: This large & stunning early Oval pantry box features three left-pointing fingers on the side and an opposing right-pointing finger on the right. This piece is early. It has hand-made irregular square nails that are possibly copper, since there's no iron oxidation bleeding into the wood. It has a warm, natural unvarnished surface, and a trace of dry yellow paint is visible between the fingers. While similar in form to Shaker oval boxes, it is different enough that it's most likely not Shaker. Still an interesting and early primitive pantry box.
Condition: In good antique condition, with some expected wear for a piece this old that was used. There is some edge wear along the lid rim, and a tight crack on the side of the lid. There's also some staining and a small old mouse? hole on the inside bottom edge, and early wear to the bottom (See photos.)
Size: Approx. 12" L by 8 1/2 W by 4 1/2".

Handling Time: 1-3 Business days. As a one-person
business, I am often on the road seeking antique finds or selling at shows; I strive to ship within 1- 2 business days (Mon - Fri), but on rare occasion may take 3 days, my stated handling time. I cannot guarantee same-day or next-day shipping. I message you to let you know when your item will ship. - This item will ship USPS Ground due to size & weight. Ebay delivery estimates are not always accurate.
- I charge a flat shipping fee that is almost always LOWER than my cost, so you know it's reasonable.
- I don't charge extra for packing materials. I do recycle CLEAN sturdy boxes and packing materials.
- Combined Shipping: Available
when small items can be safely shipped together. If the ebay invoice
does not automatically combine shipping, please contact me to request
this - before paying, if you can.
Sorry, I NO LONGER USE OFFER OPTIONS. I try to price my items reasonably, given my
inventory costs and extremely high ebay selling & promotional fees, and of
course the item's value. I will occasionally put items on sale or
mark-down, but most items sell at their listed price. Please consider
the value of the item and whether the listed price works for you. And thank you for supporting this small business!
RETURNS: I guarantee every item is as described. I sell used antiques and collectibles and most will have signs of age, wear and use. I try to indicate any issues in photos and condition statement, so please review the full listing and photos. Please ask any questions before purchasing or bidding.
I gladly accept returns if I have overlooked anything you feel is important.
If you have questions when you receive your item, please, ASAP, click
on Contact Seller or Ask Seller a Question in the item tracking, your
Purchases page, or in the original listing, so that I can address any
concerns promptly!
IMPORTANT: Clicking on "Return Item" automates the process and can actually make it harder to
resolve an issue quickly and effectively. If a return is due to an
oversight on my part, I will refund return shipping after item has been
shipped back.
IMPORTANT: NO partial refunds for unreturned items - item must be returned. And NO renegotiating price after purchase.
