Some compressors are dry & some contain oil. We recommend draining the oil that is in the compressor, if there is any. Then adjust to the proper amount for your system using Pag 46. The normal procedure is to drain the old compressor, the one you are taking off of the vehicle & measure the amount of oil. Put the same amount of new oil into the new compressor plus additional for any components replaced.
