Here's a wonderful new sterling silver hair barrette with 5 lovely turquoise stones. Beautiful hand stamp work frames the stones, which are separated with silver dots. According to the artist, the stones were sourced from the Kingman Mine in northwestern Arizona. The spring/clip mechanism is likely stainless steel, while the rectangular plate is sterling silver.

The barrette is 3" long and 1" tall.

Each of the stones are a little different in size and shape. For comparison, the middle stone is about 3/16" by 1/4".

It weighs 15.2 g.

The artist's hallmark is "JB" for Navajo artisan Joann Begay.
