For sale is a used, vintage 1990's Tube Works Tube Driver pedal in good working condition. Sounds great! Made in Denver, Colorado. Works good, outside shows normal wear. See pics. Designed by BK Butler. Uses an actual tube to create the distortion, just like a tube amp. Range goes from gritty overdrive to very fuzzy depending on how it is set. Also, these can be further tailored to your sound by changing the tube from 12ax7 to a 12au7 to give more overdriven tones rather than pure fuzz. A great pedal and fun to use.
Quick summary, BK Butler designed this pedal while an engineer at Dean Markley in the 80's. He left to form his own company Tube Works. Chandler licensed this design and made their own version. When Butler's contract with Chandler ended, he sold Tube Driver pedals under the Tube Works name. This is one of those original pedals. Comes with power adapter.
