The larger end of the increaser is crimped to allow for making easy connections to 7-in round pipe or fitting openings. It is constructed with 24-gauge cold-rolled steel and finished with a black matt paint that resists chips and scratches for long-term performance and durability. The stove pipe increaser has a maximum temperature rating of 700°F, with a short-term exposure rating up to 800°F.
