Offered for sale is a unique and authentic Cold War–era officer’s visor cap, combining original insignia from East Germany (NVA Luftstreitkräfte / Luftverteidigung) and the Finnish Defence Forces.
The cap itself is a blue East German Air Force officer’s type with the classic silver DDR cockade and gold pilot/aircrew wreath badges on either side. Mounted on the front is an exceptionally rare Finnish lion emblem on a black enamel cross with crossed swords – a distinctive badge used by Finnish Air and Armoured Brigade personnel.
This combination makes for a one-of-a-kind collector’s piece — perfect for Cold War aviation, European military, or DDR uniform enthusiasts.

Used but well preserved for its age. Minor scuffing and light tarnish to metalwork, leather peak intact, interior lining and sweatband in good order.
