Cylindrical copper fire extinguisher with riveted body construction, featuring a cast top handle assembly with protective ring and side-mounted discharge hose with tapered nozzle. The front retains its embossed panel marked "RED STAR No. 1 Soda Acid Fire Extinguisher," with additional manufacturer details reading "Made by The General Mfg. Co., St. Louis, Mo., U.S.A." and operating instructions including "TURN BOTTOM UP." The form is distinctly industrial, with a domed top, visible vertical seam rivets, and a broad base collar. Surface shows a layered patina of oxidized copper, verdigris accumulation, and remnants of original red finish, particularly concentrated along the upper assembly and hose.

Shows heavy wear consistent with age and use including oxidation, corrosion, paint loss, and verdigris throughout. Embossed lettering remains legible though softened. Hose shows significant surface rust but remains attached. Untested and sold as a display piece.
