These may be the strongest matched quad of NOS EL34 tubes I've ever seen. The only tubes I've seen that compares to these are the Hitachi EL34's that I'm almost sold out of which regularly test in the 53 range on the TV7. Mullard? Forget it no Mullard can hang with this look on my list at dozens of Mullards with some NOS. Nothing hangs with this.
Calibrated TV7-D/U test results:
Tube1=54.9 @ 41ma plate current
Tube2=54.8 @ 40.9ma
Tube3=54.3 @ 40.9ma
Tube4=53.6 @ 39.8ma
On the TV7 a reading of 30 is the equivalent of 65% Gm. New EL34's normally test 48-52 and rarely go above 52.
Adding to that, this quad is current matched to within 1.3 milliamps and what you have here is one serious quad of awesome sounding highly desired audio tubes.
These are new virgin new old stock tubes in original boxes with original paper wrappings and matched factory codes.
