DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice decorative handmade art pottery vase. I do not know for sure who the maker artist is who made the vase. I do not know if the vase is Japanese or not. I do not know the age, the artist, or the origin of this vase. It is up to you to research and determine for yourself the age, origin, and artist or maker of the vase. Image search online seems to believe that the vase may be Japanese in origin. The vase is heavy and made of pottery clay with an intentionally formed shape with losses. The vase has a multicolored glazed fired finish. The vase looks to be signed by the artist, but I can not make out the illegible signature (see photos, it looks to be AHMEDT ?? to me). If you have information about the vase or the artist who made it, I would appreciate any help. This is a heavy vase weighing over 9 pounds. The vase measures in total about 16.25 inches high, and it measures about 7.5 inches wide from side to side between the widest points of the base. The vase has some intentional losses and some wear (see photos and/or written description for the condition of this item). Research the vase and determine for yourself the age, origin, and artist or maker of the vase before you purchase this item.
