Antique hand made, Shaker Community sewing pin cushion/roll up
1. original not reproduction
2. condition is a little rough
3. velvet ends are the pin cushion
4. unrolled on the inside tiny leather pocket on one end, red leather with closure tab, see photo
5. opposite end of the leather pocket gathered silk pocket, see photo
6. in part of silk, a tiny change crochet tabs to slide things through, see photo
7. rolled up this would have had a piece of silk ribbons to tie it closed
8. side the silk is worn, and has some tears
9. this from on of the Shaker Communities here in NH, probably Canterbury
10. the Shakers made these items to sell to the outside, they vigorous  making many items to sell to the outside  
approximate measurements
1. roll up 5 in. long x 1.5 across the end
2. opened 9 in. long x 2.5 in. across the leather
