1960s–1970s Brutalist / Modernist textured circle brooch, done in gold-tone metal.

The irregular “radiating shard” design is classic mid-century Brutalist, very reminiscent of:

• Napier (1960s Brutalist line)

• Monet (late 60s / early 70s textured series)

• Crown Trifari’s “Radiance / Firecracker” styles

• French and German modernist designers (unsigned studio pieces)

🧵 Construction notes

• Gold-tone cast metal, not plated brass — you can see that matte textured casting surface.

• Fold-over locking C-clasp typical of 1960s–1970s.

• Good, clean soldering.

• No maker mark anywhere on the back → definitely costume, not fine.
