1960s–1970s Brutalist / Modernist textured circle brooch, done in gold-tone metal.
The irregular “radiating shard” design is classic mid-century Brutalist, very reminiscent of:
- Napier (1960s Brutalist line)
- Monet (late 60s / early 70s textured series)
- Crown Trifari’s “Radiance / Firecracker” styles
- French and German modernist designers (unsigned studio pieces)
🧵 Construction notes
- Gold-tone cast metal, not plated brass — you can see that matte textured casting surface.
- Fold-over locking C-clasp typical of 1960s–1970s.
- No maker mark anywhere on the back → definitely costume, not fine.
Functioning clasp. Good vintage condition. See photos.
