The watch is fully functional and keeping good time with a new battery installed. The date changes over properly and the quick set feature works. The case has some minor scuffs, scratches, dings and wear. The case back is beautifully inscribed with "Jerry Baker 12-25-70 Love, Marce".

The movement has been phased for 1.55 volts so modern silver oxide batteries can be used.

WARRANTY 

Your watch comes with a 1 year warranty on parts and workmanship. The warranty is void if the case is opened for any reason (tamper evident security measures are in place). The warranty is void if the watch is dropped or otherwise abused. The bracelet is not included in the warranty. To preserve your warranty, the watch must be shipped back to Unwindtime Vintage Watches for battery replacement. The warranty does not cover the strap.

Your watch will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail and insured for the full amount. If you would like signature required for delivery, please message me within 24 hours of purchase. 

Please look closely at all of the pictures as they serve as the item condition description. Ships with a new battery installed.

The watch was rebuilt on July 28, 2025:

• The Bulova cal. 2181 tuning fork movement with sweep seconds hand was completely disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with high quality watch parts cleaning solutions, then reassembled and lubricated to Bulova specifications using their service manual and Moebius synthetic lubricants.

• The crown and stem, case and case back were cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. 

• A new crystal was installed.

•  A new case back gasket was installed.

• A new Energizer battery was installed.

• Pawl and index jewels have been phased for 1.55V.
