The watch is fully functional and keeping good time with a new battery installed. The case is rough, showing dents, dings scratches and finish wear.

This is a bit of a rough example and for this reason, I'm not profiting from this at all. My asking price is the same that I paid for the watch, so you're getting a free service. With that being said, I am open to offers. If you are interested in the watch, please send an offer!

Details

The watch was rebuilt on March 25, 2026:

The ESA 9176 Dynotron movement was completely disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath with high quality watch parts cleaning solutions, then reassembled and lubricated with Moebius synthetic lubricants.

The crown, battery hatch and case were cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.

A new case dust seal was installed.

The crystal was polished.

A new Maxell battery was installed.

The movement is running within +/- 1 minute per day (+20 seconds per day, but this is not a guarantee). This is a hairspring regulated electro-mechanical movement, not quartz regulated, and will be subject to timing deviations caused by environmental factors, such as temperature and the wearer's physical activity.

Display stands, decor, mannequin hands and measuring devices are for photographic purposes only and are not included in this sale. All international buyers are responsible for all import duties, taxes and any return shipping costs (returns must be insured and sent within 14 days of receipt). No water resistance should be assumed due to age.
