This is a staple of North African Cuisine, couscoussiers are traditionally used to simultaneously steam couscous while simmering a stew to accompany it. It can also be used to steam seafood, rice, vegetables and dumplings. This was hand crafted for Williams Sonoma in Tunisia. It measures about 12”tall when assembled, The lower stew pot is about 71/2” tall, and 8 1/2” at the widest part. The staem portion is 8”in diameter and about 4””deep. This has been a part of my kitchen for years, but needs a new home as I am downsizing.
