Why should the charging current be set to no more than 32A?
1. The NEC tipulates that continuous loads (loads expected to operate for 3 hours or longer) shall not exceed 80% of the branch circuit rating.
2. Tesla's Gen2 adapter incorporates a chip that presets the charging limit to 32A.
