Published in London, 1782. 8 x 12 inches, 2 volumes, xii-180 + 228 pages, contemporary full leather binding, smooth spine with two title labels and decorated with fillets and floral motifs, covers framed with a triple gilt fillet, decorated endpapers, gilt edges on all three sides, marbled endpapers, good condition (a few rare and light foxing spots; binding well preserved; edges and corners slightly worn, see pictures). Just realized that each book has stamp and a number on the title page. Hard to read! Title pages engraved by Clément Pierre Marillier (1740-1808). Well known engraver in 18th century and early 19th century. Some of his work was sold at auction houses such as Invaluable and is kept in many museums world wide.

I have done my best to describe the book and its condition accurately. Nothing has been omitted intentionally, but if you notice any discrepancies, please feel free to contact me, and I will correct them immediately.
