This camera does work as intended; however, it does have a few flaws. 

1. The sensor has some light dust on it. This is most notable at the telephoto end.

2. The battery tab that holds the battery in is missing. The door is fine, but is not strong enough to maintain constant pressure. I've stretched a small band over the body of the camera. This holds the door perfectly. Tape or padding on the inside of the door would serve the same purpose. 

3. The body does show minor signs of wear.

A case and battery will be included with the camera. Please see photos. Sample images taken with this camera can be seen in the listing images.
