Antique figural art metal statue of a Medieval huntsman on horseback blowing a horn mounted to a tray base with Polish writing on the front.
This equestrian statue and its base are cast in bronze (or brass) and likely dates from the late 19th-century. The statue has very good sculptural detail, from the man's flowing hair to the horse's ornate tack. The statue is mounted to a wide curved base that is hollowed out in front to hold anything from small desktop accessories to cigar ashes. The front of the base is inscribed in Polish.
It stands 7.5" tall on an 8" by 5" base and weighs almost 6 lbs.
An impressive equestrian statue for your collection, desktop or decor.
