This lighter is cast in metal with chromed silver finish and excellent detail, from the lifeboats on top of the ship to the waves plowing against the hull. The lighter mechanism marked "JAPAN" is on top. It's empty of fuel and probably needs a new flint to spark. The underside of the ship is covered in felted cardboard and still has the original label reading "WESTLAND CO. - MADE IN JAPAN" with an address in San Leandro, Calif.

It measures 7" long by 1.25" wide by 2" tall, and weighs 1/2 lb.
