Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba
Set in Japan's Taisho Era, this Japanese-style sword-fighting tale depicts the main character, a young boy, fighting demons in order to turn his sister, who has turned into a demon, back into a human.
Shinobu Kochou
Mushibashira" who uses "Mushi no Kokyu." He is 18 years old. He wears hair ornaments and a haori (a coat of arms) that resemble butterfly wings. He is a master of pharmacology and has created a "poison that can kill demons" from wisteria flowers. She is 151 cm tall and weighs 37 kg.
Although she is one of the smallest and slenderest of the female troopers, she has excellent instantaneous power and speed of movement, and was said by Doma (see below) to be the fastest pillar he had ever encountered. Nichirinto is the only swordsman among the Pillars who cannot cut a demon's neck due to his weak sword-wielding muscles, but his thrusting muscles are so strong that they can pierce through rocks. Since stabbing is not enough to kill a demon, the blade is poisoned with a different poison formulated for each demon. The heel of his sandals is equipped with a blade.
She is so beautiful that Zenitsu says she could eat just from her face. She has a pet theory that "demons and humans should get along well with each other," and she sometimes tries to help demons who beg for their lives. However, she sometimes shows her harshness and distorted values that do not match her words and actions, such as when she offers the condition that she can get along with demons if she tortures them for the number of people she has killed.
After the Hashirago Conference, he is one of the few people in Tanjiro's circle of friends. He runs a hospital-like facility called "Choyashiki," which treats and rehabilitates seriously injured members of the Oni-killing Squad. She loves the children in the mansion as if they were her younger sisters.
He used to live happily with his sister Kanae and his parents, but his parents were killed by demons. To protect someone's happiness that has not been destroyed yet, he became an Oni-slayer with his sister.
Kanae, her beloved sister, was a swordsman who dreamed of "befriending demons," but was slaughtered. While he believes that he must carry on his sister's dream without losing the smile that she loved so much, he has developed a deep-seated hatred for demons that lie to protect themselves and attack people with their bare instincts, and as a result of this conflict, he behaves as described above. As a result of his conflicting feelings, he entrusts Tanjiro, who has a similar past but never wavers in his belief to save demons.
In the Infinity Castle Arc, he encounters Kangen no Ni-Doma, who realizes that he is Kanae's avenger and engages him in battle, but neither his poison nor his all-out swordsmanship can save him, and he is cut in the ribs, collarbone, and lungs, and finally his bones are crushed before Kanao's eyes and he is absorbed into Doma. He is not as strong as Kanae, as he is always lightly treated by Kanae during fights. In fact, she is so obsessed with Doma that she has been remodeling her body by ingesting wisteria flowers little by little, turning it into a mass of deadly poison that is 700 times more lethal than the original dose. He dares Doma to feed himself with the poison and entrusts Kanao to behead him for the final time. After Doma's death, his soul is reunited with his parents after praising Kanao with Kanae.
Kanao Tsuyuri
She is a female fencer from Kisatsutai, Tanjiro's classmate. She is 16 years old. She is a "stepdaughter" of Shinobu Kochou, a "flower-breathing" fencer like Kanae Kochou, and is of greater stature and strength than Shinobu, with a different fighting style.
He has excellent eyesight, especially his reaction time and dynamic vision, and his potential may even surpass Shinobu's. He is excellent at his job,
but is usually a little out of his element.
He excels at his duties,
but is usually vague and lacking in facial expression. He has a kind of nihilistic feeling that "I can't decide anything because I don't care about anything," and his actions other than what he is instructed to do are decided by tossing coppers (coin toss). Since meeting Tanjiro, she has grown up to be able to act on her own initiative instead of tossing coins.
As a child, after being abused by his own parents, he lost his emotions and felt nothing. She was named "Kanao" by Kanae, but since she is unable to assert herself due to the aforementioned circumstances, she was given a copper coin by Kanae.
Although she was reluctant to show it in her behavior, she is so devoted to Kanae and Shinobu that she declares them to be her immediate family, and there was talk of adopting them after they took her in, but she decided against it. He was unknowingly in contact with Kanae, Shinobu who lost her parents, Aoi and Kiyo who were killed by demons, and others. He also developed feelings of anger toward the demons who killed his stepchildren and the members who treated him kindly.
After the selection test, Shinobu did not appear on the battlefield for a long time. At the Infinity Castle, he sees Shinobu being killed by Jyogen's second leader, Doma, and the emotions he had been suppressing explode. He provokes Doma, who has no feelings, into a fight, but he is gradually cornered. However, Inosuke intervenes and they end up fighting two-on-one. Shinobu tells him about the plan beforehand, and together with Inosuke, they succeed in cutting off Doma's neck as his body begins to collapse from Shinobu's poison during the fight. He and Inosuke succeed in cutting off Doma's neck when his body begins to collapse from Shinobu's poison during the battle. He lost the sight in his right eye in the battle against Doma, and his left eye was severely damaged in the battle against the Oni no Ou.
