Vintage THE MODERN GYMNAST Magazine: 1960, 1961, 1962 and 1963 Four Years, 22 Issues in Three Binders
THE MODERN GYMNAST Magazine was the pioneer in gymnastics print media and set the standard for gymnastics coverage in the 1960's. Each issue is packed with competition reports from high school and junior camps to elite world competition, including fantastic photography and technical reports.

1960: 2 issues (in Binder #1)
1961: 6 issues (in Binder #1)
1962: 8 issues (in Binder #2)
1963 6 issues (in Binder #3)
All issues are 3-hole punched, in separate 3-ring blue binders. Each binder has the date, number and "MG" written neatly on the spine of the binder, as well as "The Modern Gymnast", year and drawing on the front cover. 1963 has some subscription tags attached to back of issues. Many issues feature centerfold photo galleries, sequences or mini posters of top male gymnasts of the era.
CONDITION:
These vintage magazines are in used and GOOD condition. The binders have some wear of edges and corners but are overall clean and intact. All issues are clean and have light wear, except for July-August 1963, which has heavier use wear, including wrinkling, creasing and wear of page edges.
