This is a solid find, especially for keeping classic Kodak or Leica projectors running. These 300W 82V lamps are widely used but can be tricky because three different "ANSI codes" share those exact electrical specs:-

Here is the breakdown to help you decide how much to bid and what to look for.

1. Identify Your "ANSI Code"

Even though they are all 300W/82V, the life expectancy and brightness vary significantly. Check the box or the bulb's rim for these three letters:

ANSI Code	Avg. Life	Note
FHS	70 Hours	Most common and preferred for home use.
EXR	35 Hours	Brighter than FHS but lasts half as long.
EXW	15 Hours	Extremely bright; usually for professional/large venue projection.

 

If a seller doesn't list the code, ask for it - it should say it on the lamp & the box.  An FHS bulb is worth more than an EXW simply because it will last you four times longer.
