Suzuki Swift Sport ZC31S Shifter Cable Bracket Adapter Large to Small Type 1 2
A key common issue when replacing the ZC31S shifter assembly (most notably with a short shifter!) is the different shifter cable brackets which are different - the older Type 1 has a wider notch compared to the narrower Type 2 notch. If the Type 2 cable bracket is not correctly seated (ie secured with zip ties) - there are often issues shifting up into the higher gears.
This custom bracket allows you to slot a Type 2 (narrower) cable bracket into a Type 1 (wider) cable bracket slot - opening up the possibility for short shifter purchase particularly from Japan.
Effectively, the wider Type 1 slot is converted into a narrower Type 2 slot using this adapter.
