Your bid in this auction is for the pictured fixer upper mid 1990s (my guess at age) Movado ladies 24.0mm diameter TWO tone case Model 88-66-820 that comes on a 13mm wide Movado signed strap with original signed buckle too! This watch is not running at this point in time. It seems that the stem is rather obviously jammed into the movement. Right now it does not operate the time set function and obviously needs to be installed properly. With the stem in the “out” position as far as the movement is concerned, this watch will NOT run until the stem is installed properly and pushed to the correct “in” position. The movement is a high quality Movado signed Swiss ETA Caliber 978.002 with 6 Jewels.
The CASE of this watch is presumed to be a mixture of stainless steel (the “white”) and yellow gold plated trim. The case rates “very good” to more like “very good plus” with minimal wear and some light surface scratches and a couple of dings. The original dial has what looks like a fleck of crud sitting on top of it. Other than that, the dial is excellent plus plus and is absolutely original. The original Movado signed 13mm gray leather strap is only in fair condition, showing some heavy routine wear. However, the yellow gold plated Movado signed buckle is in “excellent” or better cosmetic condition and is ready to be changed onto a new strap. All in all this is a promising vintage 1990s Movado ladies TWO tone 88-66-820 model with a potentially easy fix or at the very least an excellent and complete parts watch. I am not a watchmaker and have less than average dexterity due to old carpal tunnel, so I am not inclined to push or pull on precision parts of watches very much! NO RESERVE!!
