Sadly, these speakers did not pass the WAF [wife acceptance factor].  I had thought about using them with our main TV or perhaps as speakers in a smaller office system.  If used as a front stereo pair, I would advise adding a dedicated subwoofer.  While they work as designed--it is not fair to compare them with the classic and older M20 speakers with stands!  These speakers would be better wall-mounted.  The grills are included--a bit flimsy and the edge of one grill is degraded--but they look fine without the grills. The connections are easy [and the power cables, while not photographed, are included]--plug each one into an electrical outlet and attach an RCA cable.  Instant sound without the need for a separate power amplifier!
