Item description:
A magnificent pair of two miniatures on cellulose (four in total), entirely hand-crafted by the artist using brush strokes, framed in pairs with bas-relief bronze frames and red velvet mats with tassels, dating to the early 20th century. The four miniatures are all signed by the artist, three with a black signature reading "Hermi" and one with a "Says" signature. Unfortunately, we were unable to find additional references to these two artists.

From our online research, we have found that miniatures similar in size and artistic quality, always with similar bronze frames, are offered on various online art and antiques sites, ranging from a minimum of €50-100 to asking prices of over €500 for a single miniature. For similar lots of four miniatures, auction prices or asking prices from other sellers range from €200-300 to over €2,000. On 1stDibis, we also found a lot of six miniatures with mother-of-pearl frames selling for over €2,700, titled "French Set of Six Mother-of-Pearl Portrait Miniatures." This gives you an idea of ​​the value of similar items.
