About this model

The Marine Master Transocean SBCN005 is described as the quartz Marinemaster that predates the famous automatic SBDX001 era, built in titanium and powered by Seiko’s 7K32 instrument-style quartz movement. It is aimed squarely at sailors and expedition travel, pairing a wearable sports case with a functional barometer/pressure trend display plus alarm and a second time zone.

Seiko documentation for the calibre family is also explicit about the “instrument” nature of the movement (it’s not decorative subdials pretending to be tools)

Important notes

Serviced Jan 2026 with seals replaced/checked, but not pressure-tested by me — treat as non-waterproof unless tested. Photos form part of the description. Vintage watch sold as described; please review photos as part of the description.
